Organic Toma Piemontese
Organic Toma Piemontese is a typical cheese from the Piedmont region, made with organic Piedmontese cow's milk using a pre-salting processing method. Its flavor primarily depends on the aging and treatment of the rind during maturation.
For a delicate taste, we recommend opting for an aging period of around 40 days. This will result in a elastic and soft, almost buttery, texture. If you prefer a stronger and more characteristic flavor, choose an aging period of at least 120 days or more. The cheese will have a more compact texture with slight eyes.
Toma Piemontese is perfect to enjoy on its own or accompanied by crispy bread and jams. It can also be used for fondues or gratins.
