Organic PDO Taleggio

Taleggio DOP is a soft cheese with ancient origins, whose name comes from the valley of the same name in the Upper Bergamo area, where it was born. The 1.8 kg wheels, the traditional manual salting and the maturing process make Taleggio DOP a unique cheese. The use of organic milk makes it possible to combine tradition with the philosophy of healthy living.

 

Taleggio DOP is characterized by a soft paste, melting in the lower crust, more consistent and crumbly in the center. The taste of Taleggio DOP is sweet, buttery, very intense and aromatic in the product with prolonged maturation.
