Caseificio Rosso keeps growing: a major boost for the export of Biella’s premium cheeses

In our daily work in food export, there is one thing that makes us particularly proud: seeing our local producers grow, structure themselves, and take Italian excellence further and further.

That is why today we want to share and comment on an important press release issued by the Biella Industrial Union. Caseificio Rosso, a historic cornerstone of Biella's dairy tradition, has announced the completion of a major corporate operation. This marks the beginning of a new phase of industrial growth and development, aimed at boosting the competitiveness of local excellences on both national and international markets.

A family history conquering the world

For those who may not know it yet, Caseificio Rosso (with its famous cheeses like Maccagno, Toma Piemontese DOP, or the award-winning Madama Reale) is the expression of a family tradition born at the end of the 19th century. Today, the company represents a true champion of the local territory:

Supporting the local supply chain.

Valuing heritage breeds, primarily using milk from the "Pezzata Rossa d'Oropa" cow.

Innovating while respecting tradition, with unique aging processes in cellars located high in the Elvo Valley.

Why this growth matters for export

The further corporate and industrial strengthening of Caseificio Rosso, which began in late 2024 with the entry of new strategic partners and is now further consolidated, proves that it is possible to grow ambitiously without ever losing touch with one's roots.

For us, as exporters of Italian food excellence, the growth of partners like Caseificio Rosso is key. It means we can rely on a well-structured company capable of guaranteeing high quality standards, consistent supply, and a forward-looking commercial vision, all while preserving authentic, artisanal quality.
