Polenta Taragna

Polenta taragna, or taragna, is a unique dish typical of the province of Bergamo and the Bergamo valleys. It is a variation of the traditional polenta that uses both cornmeal and buckwheat flour. 

 

This delicacy is widespread mainly in Upper Lombardy and in the provinces of Sondrio, Brescia and Lecco.
