August 10th: The night when every wish, for us at Gourm.it, has a flavor
August 10th is a date that holds more than one meaning for us at Consorzio Gourm.it.
It is San Lorenzo (Saint Lawrence), the patron saint of Pegognaga, the place where our company is headquartered.
It is Viale San Lorenzo, the address where you can find our offices and our store.
It is, of course, the Night of San Lorenzo: the night of shooting stars, of wishes.
Behind every shooting star, there is a wish just waiting for the right moment to be made.
And what is a wish, if not a concrete expression of "wishing," of "craving something"?
For us at Consorzio Gourm.it, when we talk about a "craving," we mean the "craving for something good": the desire to rediscover, in a single bite, a piece of authentic Italian tradition.
And that is precisely our greatest wish—our mission: to bring that Italian flavor everywhere in the world. Just as people wish upon a shooting star with a desire sometimes so big it crosses borders, in the same way, our products reach customers all over the world.
It is no coincidence that Consorzio Gourm.it is known primarily as a network of Italian companies focused on exporting their products. But few know that, in addition to export and e-commerce, at Viale San Lorenzo No. 40 in Pegognaga, you can also find our products in-store, which will hold a special opening this very Monday, August 10th! From 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM, the San Lorenzo Collection awaits you!
However, for us, there is another San Lorenzo to tell you about: Fattorie San Lorenzo, where the Bussolotti family has been raising beef cattle for three generations using natural methods that respect both animals and the environment. This is a story that deserves a space of its own: we will share it with you next week, along with a traditional recipe from the Pegognaga Festival days and the culinary tradition of Mantua! Stay tuned…!
